Platform #3 focusing on black boys is going to be a challenge but I look forward to what we are going to do in the lives of the young boys that we are going to touch through our sorority's outreach project.

Soror Erica, I agree that we are embarking upon a major challenge that is unfamiliar to us. It is my prayer that we will be blessed with other African-American men to help us with this platform. Getting it off the ground and making it appealing to our young black males is a must. My question is: What will this look like?

I beleive the new platforms are good, but confusing. Some of them are not clear. I think the platform showing interest in young men should be in comjuction with male organizations. We cannot show boys how to be men. We should be focusing on your young, black females and showing them that they are much more than the negative images potrayed in the media of black women. We should be taking them under our wings and showing them how to love themselves and that you can be anything in this in this world.
